Every shot and every movies are different. There’s no right and wrong. Cinematography is personnal; it’s something you have to develop yourself, and there’s no easy way to do that. It’s just a matter of spending time on your own and finding it. You can’t learn it from somebody else. It’s not just technique. In fact, it’s less about technique and more about a way of seeing.
